Northwest K9 Academy are now offering Artificial insemination courses. We offer one to one or in small groups at our premises in Wigan, North West junction 26 off the M6. We pride ourselves on our continuous support to our clients during and after all courses and also offer refresher courses if required. Our Artificial insemination involves home studying and theory test and practical testing along with demonstrations. You will cover:

• Introduction to fertile male
• Reasons why a dog would want to mate naturally
• Why a stud dog history is important
• Male hormones
• Spermatozoa
• Canine erection and ejaculation
• Semen collection
• Pre insemination examination
• How to artificial inseminate a female

This is ideal if you are a breeder or work in the canine industry or even wanting to set up your own business you will receive a certificate in Level one Artificial insemination CPD qualification.

The course is £300 and you will receive five Artificial insemination packs.
